What is Longelite Science-based Multivitamin?
Longelite Science-based Multivitamin is a comprehensive food supplement that combines 19 vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in a single formula. Unlike most multivitamins, it emphasizes the quality of individual nutrient forms and rational dosing. B vitamins are included primarily in active (coenzyme) forms – riboflavin as riboflavin-5′-phosphate, vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, folate as L-methylfolate, and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin – so the body does not need to metabolically activate them first. Minerals (zinc, copper, boron) are provided in chelated (bisglycinate) forms with good absorption and gastrointestinal tolerance, selenium is supplied as selenium-enriched yeast, vitamin D3 in a plant-based (vegan) form derived from algae, and vitamin K2 as menaquinone (MK-7).
The philosophy behind this product is daily essentials without megadosing. Most multivitamins on the market contain unnecessarily high doses of certain vitamins and minerals that the body cannot utilize and that may, in some cases, be counterproductive or even risky. In contrast, our formula is based on scientific evidence and designed to help achieve an optimal daily intake of essential micronutrients without placing unnecessary stress on the body. It therefore intentionally excludes vitamin A, vitamin E, iron, and calcium – nutrients for which excessive intake carries the greatest risks and which most people either obtain from a regular diet or should supplement only when individually needed.
The product is intended for anyone who wants to reliably cover essential micronutrients – people with irregular or unbalanced diets, those under increased physical or mental stress, older adults (when absorption and endogenous synthesis of certain vitamins decline), individuals following vegan or vegetarian diets (B12, iodine, zinc, selenium), and anyone seeking nutritional insurance for essential nutrients without the risk of overdosing. The goal is not to replace a varied diet. The dosage is based on the nutrients for which suboptimal intake is most common in the population.

Why Longelite Science-based Multivitamin?
The product combines vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in highly bioavailable forms with the aim of:
- reliably covering essential micronutrients that are most commonly deficient or consumed suboptimally in the population (vitamin D, B12, folate, iodine, zinc, selenium),
- achieving optimal daily intake of essential micronutrients without megadosing – the formula intentionally excludes vitamin A, vitamin E, iron, and calcium, for which excessive intake carries the greatest risks,
- providing B vitamins in active (coenzyme) forms that the body can use directly,
- supporting normal energy-yielding metabolism and reducing tiredness and fatigue,
- contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative stress (vitamin C, B2, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium),
- supporting normal immune system function (vitamin C, D, B6, B9, B12, zinc, selenium, copper),
- contributing to normal nervous system function and psychological function (B vitamins),
- supporting normal homocysteine metabolism (folate, B6, B12),
- contributing to bone health and proper calcium distribution (vitamin D3 + K2, manganese, boron),
- supporting normal thyroid function (iodine, selenium),
- all in carefully considered doses and mutual ratios.
We place strong emphasis on the highest quality input ingredients – active vitamin forms, chelated minerals, and standardized extracts – as well as independent laboratory testing.

What does science say?
“Multivitamins are among the most commonly used food supplements and, at the same time, among those for which expectations must remain realistic. In healthy, well-nourished individuals, dramatic effects cannot be expected from a multivitamin. The true benefit of micronutrient supplementation appears where there is a real deficiency or suboptimal intake – and this is more common in the population than is often assumed. This applies particularly to vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, iodine, zinc, and selenium, especially in older adults, people with unbalanced diets, vegans and vegetarians, during pregnancy, or under increased stress.
From a scientific perspective, what matters is not only which nutrients a multivitamin contains, but also in what form and dose. Active (coenzyme) forms of B vitamins – riboflavin-5′-phosphate, pyridoxal-5-phosphate, L-methylfolate, and methylcobalamin – can be used directly by the body without the need for enzymatic conversion, which may be reduced in part of the population, for example in individuals with variants of the MTHFR gene. Chelated (bisglycinate) mineral forms and vitamin K2 as MK-7 also offer better bioavailability. Equally important are mutual ratios – for example zinc and copper, whose balance determines whether supplementation helps or instead induces a deficiency of the other nutrient.
This also relates to dosing – in food supplements in general, “more” does not mean “better”. Many multivitamins on the market contain intentionally inflated doses that the body does not use and that may lead to adverse effects and unnecessary waste (PMCID: PMC5241405). We consider overdosing on vitamin A and E, iron, and calcium to carry the greatest risks – which is why our formula deliberately excludes them. However, extreme doses of other substances may also be counterproductive: long-term high intake of vitamin B6 has been associated with the risk of peripheral neuropathy, and megadoses of biotin may interfere with certain laboratory test results, such as thyroid function or cardiac markers. For this reason, vitamin B6, biotin, and the other nutrients in this product are kept at reasonable levels close to recommended intake, not at “marketing” megadose levels.
In the context of longevity, we do not see a multivitamin as a “miracle” product, but rather as a sensible foundation – insurance against subclinical deficiencies that may, over the years, contribute to impaired immune, bone, nervous system, or energy metabolism function. Many of the included nutrients also act on pathways relevant to biological aging: niacin as a precursor of NAD+, folate, B6, and B12 in homocysteine metabolism, vitamin K2 in the prevention of vascular calcification, and selenium and zinc in antioxidant defense. The goal is therefore to cover the foundation as effectively as possible, without compromising on dosage or nutrient forms.
For me, a multivitamin is not the most important thing a person can do for their health and longevity. But I see it as a sensible form of ‘nutritional insurance’. In practice, micronutrient deficiencies are common, and even a mild, long-term deficiency can quietly undermine the function of the immune system, nervous system, bones, and other organ systems. With reasonable dosing, I see this as a typical example of asymmetric risk: deficiency can represent a much greater problem than a mild excess. It makes sense to choose a multivitamin that uses active vitamin forms and chelated minerals in carefully designed doses and ratios – not a product with dozens of ‘megadoses’ that the body will not use anyway and that may even cause harm. This is exactly the philosophy behind Science-based Multivitamin.”

How should Science-based Multivitamin be taken?
- Recommended daily dose: 2 capsules.
- Take 2 capsules daily, ideally with food. Drink with a sufficient amount of water.
- With or without food: ideally with a meal containing some fat – this improves the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (D3, K2).
- Time of day: preferably in the morning or before noon with your main meal; B vitamins may have a mild stimulating effect in sensitive individuals, so taking them immediately before bedtime is not recommended.
- Consistency: the benefits of micronutrient supplementation depend on regular use – take daily and long term.
- The product can be used long term without cycling. It is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle, but a scientifically based complement to it.
- Effects in individuals with deficiencies (e.g., reduced fatigue) may become noticeable after several weeks of regular use; in well-nourished individuals, the benefit is more about long-term prevention than immediately observable effects.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals allergic to any of the ingredients used. Individuals with thyroid disorders (due to the iodine content) and those taking anticoagulants (due to the vitamin K2 content) should consult their physician before use. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
Who is this product not recommended for?
Use of this food supplement is not recommended for:
