Information on the Processing of Personal Data and the Use of Cookies

1.1          The operator of the online store www.longelite.cz and www.longelite.com and the seller of goods is a company established under Czech law:

1.2          For the provision of its services, sale of goods and operation of websites, the Seller processes certain personal data.
1.3          The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”).

2 Processing of Personal Data

2.1          Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with your contact details that you provide to us, mainly through the inquiry form. These include in particular your first name, last name, company name, phone number, address and e-mail address.

For what purpose?

We use these details to contact you for further communication regarding goods and services.

On what legal basis?

Processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

How long will we process personal data?

If no further cooperation is established, we will process your data for a maximum of 2 years from our last communication.

2.2          Processing of personal data in the case of a purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will process the data you provide. These are mainly billing details: first name, last name, address, e-mail address and phone number.

For what purpose?

We need to process personal data in order to fulfil our contract – to deliver goods or services to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, complaints or inquiries.

We further process personal data to fulfil our legal obligations (especially accounting and tax obligations, handling complaints and other statutory duties).

On what legal basis?

Processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of the service provision and subsequently for 2 years from the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

3 Newsletters (Commercial Communications)

If you are a purchasing customer and you have not opted out during the purchase, we may use your e-mail address to send you our newsletters.

On what legal basis?

This is permitted under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, provided that you did not refuse such use at the time of purchase.

How long will we process personal data?

For 2 years from your last purchase. You may unsubscribe from newsletters at any time via e-mail or by contacting us at info@longelite.com.

4 Who Has Access to the Data?

4.1          Your data remains with us. However, certain companies or individuals may have access to the data because they assist us in operating our e-shop. These include:
(a) the e-shop platform operator Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, Company ID: 28935675);
(b) companies involved in order fulfilment and delivery: Dextrum Fulfillment, Packeta, PPL, DHL, Czech Post, or other contractual carriers;
(c) payment processing companies – Comgate;
(d) e-mailing service provider – Ecomail.

4.2          Your personal data may also be accessed by the following entities:

5 Additional Information

5.1          We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
5.2          Our company does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

7 Your Rights Related to the Processing of Personal Data

7.1          Under GDPR, you have the right to request information about what personal data we process, access such data, request correction or updating, request restriction of processing, obtain a copy of the data, request erasure in certain cases, and request data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
7.2          If you believe that your data is not being handled correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or seek judicial protection.

These conditions are effective as of 1 October 2025.
